En commission \u00e0 La Chambre, j\u2019ai interrog\u00e9 le Ministre Bellot sur la situation de la future gare de Mons.
\nBien que les travaux aient enfin repris avec une certaine continuit\u00e9, le Ministre reste prudent sur l\u2019avancement d\u2019une date de fin de chantier. Il m\u2019a indiqu\u00e9 toutefois que l\u2019objectif de la SNCB est la mise en service de la gare \u00e0 la fin 2018.
\nPar ailleurs, la suppression du Thalys reliant les gares de la dorsale wallonne \u00e0 Paris a cr\u00e9\u00e9 une grande d\u00e9ception parmi les voyageurs, notamment ceux en provenance de Mons-Borinage et du Centre.
\nAlors que Mons disposera bient\u00f4t d\u2019une toute nouvelle gare et d\u2019un environnement id\u00e9al pour renforcer les liaisons internationales, j\u2019ai sensibilis\u00e9 le Ministre sur la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 de r\u00e9tablir le passage du Thalys wallon. Bien qu\u2019il m\u2019ait confirm\u00e9 que ce dossier faisait l\u2019objet d\u2019une attention particuli\u00e8re au sein de son cabinet avec la France depuis de nombreux mois, sa r\u00e9ponse me laisse sur ma faim.
\nLe Ministre propose comme alternative pour se rendre \u00e0 Paris de transiter par Bruxelles. Pour les habitants de ma r\u00e9gion, cette solution est inaccepptable ! En effet, auparavant il y avait un Thalys qui partait le matin \u00e0 8h20 vers Paris et un autre qui revenait de Paris vers 21 heures. Un usager qui prenait le Thalys \u00e0 Mons rejoignait Paris une heure quart plus tard.
\nL\u2019offre actuelle d\u00e9fendue par le Ministre, place Paris \u00e0 plus de trois heures de Mons en train\u2026
