Les repr\u00e9sentants de la Task Force \u00ab\u00a0Mons-Borinage\u00a0\u00bb ont rencontr\u00e9 lundi le ministre des Entreprises publiques, Paul Magnette, concernant le dossier de r\u00e9ouverture de la ligne de chemins de fer entre Mons-Saint-Ghislain et Valenciennes (France). Le ministre a, selon le d\u00e9put\u00e9 Eric Thi\u00e9baut, annonc\u00e9 qu\u2019il soutenait le projet.<\/p>\n

Depuis 1984, cette ligne internationale est ferm\u00e9e au trafic des voyageurs et, depuis 1992, au trafic des marchandises. Les trains de voyageurs de la ligne 97 circulent depuis 1995 sur la voie unique \u00e9lectrifi\u00e9e entre Saint-Ghislain et Qui\u00e9vrain.<\/p>\n

Le projet de reconnexion avec Valenciennes et la France remonte \u00e0 avant 2005. Il n\u2019a cependant jamais abouti. \u00ab\u00a0Monsieur Magnette a indiqu\u00e9 qu\u2019il \u00e9crirait \u00e0 Infrabel en tant que ministre de tutelle pour soutenir le projet de r\u00e9ouverture de la ligne au fret dans un premier temps et, donc, demander d\u2019accepter la collaboration avec la SNCF\u00a0\u00bb, a indiqu\u00e9 le d\u00e9put\u00e9 f\u00e9d\u00e9ral et bourgmestre de Hensies, Eric Thi\u00e9baut (PS). \u00ab\u00a0Nous sommes en contact r\u00e9gulier avec la chambre \u00e9conomique du Nord et nous savons que des entreprises comme Toyota \u00e0 Onnaing et Bombardier \u00e0 Qui\u00e9vrechain sont tr\u00e8s preneuses de cette r\u00e9ouverture vers la Belgique.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n

Selon le d\u00e9put\u00e9 socialiste, la reconnexion avec la France ne co\u00fbterait que moins de 2 millions d\u2019euros \u00e0 la Belgique. \u00ab\u00a0Il ne s\u2019agit finalement que de remettre des rails sur 600 ou 700 m\u00e8tres entre Qui\u00e9vrain et la fronti\u00e8re \u00e0 Blanc Misseron. Dans un premier temps, le trafic entre la France et la Belgique serait assur\u00e9 par la traction diesel\u00a0\u00bb, a conclu M. Thi\u00e9baut.
